TNKR Summer Intensive Class, funded by the U.S. Embassy, provides North Korean students to learn English and explore the culture of South Korea.

11 high school students from the TNKR Global High School Union were selected as intensive class mentors. On August 21, two mentors Leia and Jiwon met their North Korean mentees at a study cafe in Nowon. The two-hour-long intensive class included these activities: playing the Icebreaker games, reading, and learning how to write an effective summary. The next day, they had lunch at a quiet restaurant due to the worsening situation of the virus. However, they were able to look around the gallery downstairs and make a memorable experience.
